Participates in the operations of the Transload Facility. Operates equipment, performs inspections and routine maintenance. Ensures compliance with EnergySolutions policies and procedures and with local, state and federal regulations.
Participates in all receipt, transfer and shipment of materials, containers and gondola railcars.
Operates trackmobile and other heavy equipment.
Loads and secures railcar/truck equipment properly.
Removes and secures fiberglass gondola lids to the railcars.
Operates CAT front end loader to load copper concentrate from storage pad into MHF low sided gondola cars.
Performs daily cleanup of the facility after each days loading.
Performs facility inspections and routine maintenance.
Inspects gondola cars to ensure compliance. Checks for leaks, cracks, holes, drain plug in place, etc.
Inspects fiberglass lids for holes, cracks, and that it's secure on the railcar for shipments (clamps).
Performs routine maintenance on gondola cars and fiberglass lids.
Performs routine maintenance of on-site equipment.
Complies with all local, state and federal health and safety regulations and company health and safety requirements.
Serves as backup or assistant to Transload Equipment Manager and Transload Operations Manager.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements/Skills
Ability to operate machinery and perform routine maintenance on machinery
Basic mathematic skills

Knowledge and understanding of facility standard operating procedures
Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to work in extreme weather conditions and environments wherein there is exposure to noise, dust, grease, smoke, fumes, noxious odors, gases, chemicals and mechanical and electrical hazards
