The Senior Center Operator 1 is a part-time position under the direct supervision of the Senior Centers Supervisor and is responsible for organizing, planning, and scheduling programs and activities as well as coordinating congregate meals and supervising volunteers at the Parker Senior Community Center. This position acts as an agency representative in all center related programs involving consumers. This includes responding to questions for information via email, in person, or over the telephone and making referrals to consumers to appropriate human service agencies or programs. As a friendly point of contact from senior center events, you have an excellent opportunity to help seniors learn about and obtain the benefits and services they are eligible to receive.
