Leybold USA Summer Industrial Rough Vacuum Sales Intern

Location: Export, PA 15632

Wage: $21 per hour

In-Office Workdays- M-F 8am to 5pm EST

Date: June 10 - August 16, 2024

(must reside within a reasonable commute to the office)

We are seeking a STEM university student to provide support to the Industrial Vacuum Business Line of Leybold USA from June-August, 2024.

Scope of the job

The scope includes the following areas of the business:

  • Work directly with our industry-leading Sales Engineers and customers.
  • Understand the design, application, and sale of systems, controls, parts, and services for commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings.
  • Attend sales meetings; operations; sales and service calls; and customer meetings alongside experienced account managers and mentors.
  • Understand the steps sales engineers take from start to finish on a job and be hands-on in those steps throughout the internship.
  • Gain an appreciation for the importance of the relationship with our customers as you work with them as a daily contact creating and importance in the solution-making process.

Education level

  • Must be a Junior or Senior undergraduate Engineering student at an accredited college or university.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use stairways to climb to multiple floors within office building, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to use hands and fingers to type or dial, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and reach with hands and arms.

You must occasionally lift and/or move up to 5-10 pounds. Your work will be frequent computer use. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

You will travel occasionally for 5% of the position, results of overnight or multiple days.

We ask that you have 100% in office work.
