Toolroom Machinist

1st shift Mon-Fri 7:00am-3:30pm, OT and Weekends as needed

Pay Starts at $25./hr. and can go up based upon experience!

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Toolroom Machinist who has the ability to work from a part drawing to produce a quality, finished product utilizing a veriety of manual machine tools.

Responsibilities:
* Setup and operate all conventional (Bridgeport, engine lathe, drill press, etc.) machine shop equipment
* Produce fixturing to aid in the production of machined parts
* Methodize component parts efficiently and logically
* Perform routine quality checks utilizing a variety of inspection tools and gages
* Adapt new procedures, techniques, tools, materials, and/or equipment when needed
* Maintain cleanliness (5S) of the work area daily
* Complete daily JDE operation transactions
* Maintain satisfactory Productivity and Quality performance metrics

Basic Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or equivalent.
* Technical School Certificate/Diploma or Skilled Trades Apprenticeship preferred.
* Minimum of 5 years in manual machining.
* Ability to problem solve and perform varied tasks.
* Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements:
* Fully site based
