Job Description

Downingtown: 4 Brandywine Avenue, Downingtown, PA 19335

Work Days and Expected Hours:

Monday-Friday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

(Additional hours as necessary to meet the objectives of the department).

Function: Provides support for the sales and service for the Financial Services Department and Financial Planner within the regional satellite offices. Provides customer service for assigned Financial Services customers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assists in the daily function of the satellite office by providing customer service.

  • Responsible for the processing of all paperwork relating to customer accounts for delivery to main office. Maintains files at satellite office.

  • Provides secretarial and receptionist services to the Financial Advisor, greeting all visitors to the satellite office, including customers, prospective customers, vendors and others.

  • Assists Financial Advisor in establishing appointments with existing customers and potential new customers.

  • Receives, screens, logs in the Ameriprise system and distributes mail and internal correspondence.

  • Operates PC equipment to assist the Financial Advisor in preparation for customer meetings.

  • Assists Financial Advisor in the preparation of marketing material.

  • Maintains and orders office supply inventories, including supplies needed from Broker Dealer, mutual fund companies and insurance companies.

  • Responsible for processing client money movement.

  • Responsible for updating and maintaining the Ameriprise CRM Salesforce with meeting notes, client calls, and all activity. Reviewing as updating Status Manager.

  • Maintains a good working relationship with bank employees. Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently, as well as motivated to work as a team player to contribute to the success of the department and in turn, the organization.

  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

Physical Demands

Operates a keypad device: 80% of the day; operates office equipment: 10% of the day. Must be able to occasionally lift and / or move up to 10 lbs. Specific vision requirements include close vision of 18"- 20", distance vision and depth perception for computer work. Education

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent basic academic education.

Experience

One to two years general and specialized experience, specifically financial services experience preferred.

Salary Range:

$15.00 - $24.04
