Department: PMO

Job Type: Regular Full Time

Location: Horsham, PA - onsite 5 days per week

Shift: Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for independently leading simultaneous projects from initiation to completion, facilitating interaction among team members, vendors, and stakeholders. Under the guidance of the Program Director, he/she will support the business in preparations of business cases to senior management for large projects; manage and coordinate required project phase gates through required approvals; schedule, facilitate and document project meetings; maintain all related information and project artifacts via the centralized project repository; support senior stakeholder management, engagement, alignment and active sponsorship critical for program success - including clearly communicating status, risks and remediation plans to executive stakeholders on a regular basis; resolve issues that arise across projects, keeping in mind impacts to the program timelines and to other programs/projects; coordinate work performed by various project resources including internal and external customers; lead development of detailed project plans and project milestones working with various part of the business; align priorities to ensure delivery against assigned project(s) along with progress tracking, change control, and on-time delivery; establish effective relationships through positive communication that motivates and influences others; guide user communications for effective user adoption; and track deliverables against project success criteria

Requirements:

* Must have - BS/BA degree (Business degree preferred)

* Must have PMP certification - Active for at least 10 years.

* 10 years' experience of project management in various business areas

* Experience simultaneously managing multiple projects of different sizes.

* Experience working on projects across multiple organizations.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Works independently to manage multiple projects with adherence to project management principles and processes.

Has overall responsibility for managing project scope, cost, schedule, and resources for all assigned projects, ensuring projects are completed on-time, on-scope and within budget.

Develop project plans that include all required artifacts, key milestones, and related checkpoints.

Track project milestones and communicate impacts to project plans, resources and/or budget to all key stakeholders.

Identify and manage open action items to closure.

Identify, manage, and escalate risks, issues and/or obstacles.

Establishes, implements, and continuously improves project management processes and methodologies.

Tasks including, but not limited to:

o Senior Management Level and Stakeholder communications

o Scheduling, facilitating and documenting meetings.

o Creating and presenting project progress

o Authoring, reviewing, editing, and finalizing all deliverables.

o Maintaining all related information via the centralized project repository

o Weekly reporting for management regarding status of all projects

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Familiar with the healthcare industry and related regulatory requirements

Self-motivated to learn about the projects and be more than a 'task master' driving thought and decisions that focus on the end goals.

Ability to effectively communicate and manage project expectations to the Program Director, stakeholders, sponsors, team members, and other key team members in a clear, concise and expeditious fashion in both written and/or verbal communications.

Possesses strong knowledge of PMI guidelines.

Excellent problem-solving ability

Possesses strong organization, prioritization, and time management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including a strong ability to create positive and professional business relationships with internal clients.

Strong presentation skills

Strong oral and written skills

Ability to present ideas in direct and user-friendly language.

Working knowledge of Microsoft tools (such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneDrive)

Working knowledge of recognized industry techniques for project management lifecycle methodologies

Physical Demands:

Ability to talk, hear, stand, reach with hands and arms, and use hands and fingers to manipulate instrument/equipment controls, computer keyboard, office equipment, objects, or tools.

Ability to travel to remote sites by airplane, ground transportation or driving.

Moving from one work location to another to sit and stand, sometimes for extended periods of time.

Specific vision abilities (with correction) including color, distance, peripheral, depth, and the ability to adjust focus.
