Job Description

The Program Coordinator is responsible for providing pricing and sales support to Education Travel Specialists (ETSs) and Account Management internal customers. Support a high volume daily request queue addressing customer needs with a sense of urgency, completeness, and accuracy. The Program Coordinator works closely with the Program Managers, Program Coordinator, Program Management, Educational Travel Specialists, Account Managers, Customer Support, Product Delivery, and Marketing. Ideal candidates are proactive, great communicators, and team-players. The Program Coordinator will take the lead on one or more key pricing function(s).

The overall goal of the Pricing Team is to ensure that our product offerings are properly valued and competitively priced in the market place allowing WorldStrides to continue to achieve growth goals and maintain market leadership in educational travel.

Objective:

  • Manage key pricing function(s) by offering expertise in the systems, tools, procedures, and policies.
  • Serve as an internal resource through outstanding internal customer service.
  • Ensure that pricing accuracy and integrity is maintained at all times

Essential Functions and Primary Role:

  1. Develop and maintain knowledge of key pricing functions including price audits, special pricing, sales processing, user training and reporting.
  2. Lead one or more key pricing function(s), which may include pricing audits, special pricing, rollover, training, etc.
  3. Work closely with ETS and AM customers to ensure accurate requests are addressed timely.
  4. Work closely with team members and be proactive.
  5. Safeguard the accuracy and confidentiality of Pricing information.
  6. Develop and maintain reports on inclusions and costs.
  7. Assist Pricing Managers with pricing rollout, testing, documentation, and special projects.

Additional Functions:

  1. Maintain knowledge of pricing mechanics, pricing policies, products, and individual appointments.
  2. Perform pricing audits, special pricing, analysis and training
  3. Provide support, guidance, and training to ETS and AM customers
  4. Perform special pricing requests, including upgrade requests, substitutions, appointment changes, and custom quotes
  5. Participate and be on time for all pricing meetings.
  6. Maintain organized, informative pricing files and tools.

Standard Pricing-Team Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Service First (internal). Proactive and prompt follow-up.
  2. Facilitate and/or perform training of staff members as requested.
  3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation.
  4. Manage multiple projects and exhibit effective organization.
  5. Foster communication within the Pricing Team, other departments, and management.
  6. Build relationships with key business leaders.
  7. Maintain knowledge of company policies and procedures to serve as an effective staff member.
  8. Support company policies and management decisions with a sense of urgency and professionalism.
  9. Seek out and participate in internal and external programs that facilitate personal and professional growth.
  10. Identify and discuss personal and professional growth goals with supervisor.
  11. Write and deliver self-performance appraisals on an annual basis.
  12. Limited business travel required.

  3. Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize workflow.
  4. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail required.
  5. Strong analytical and reporting skills preferred.
  6. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including strong proficiency in Excel.
  7. Ability to learn and consistently apply pricing procedures and policies.
  8. Ability to extend hours as required during the peak days of the sales season and as needed for special projects.
