We are seeking a Fleet Support Specialist to join our team. This role involves working closely with passenger rail agencies to develop, negotiate, and manage TSSSA contracts for passenger rolling stock. You will be responsible for ensuring that the agencies receive comprehensive technical support and a steady supply of spare parts, in line with the contractual terms agreed upon with the carbuilders.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with rail agencies and carbuilders to develop, establish and maintain TSSSA agreements.

  • Analyze and understand the needs of rail agencies and align them with the services provided by carbuilders.

  • Negotiate terms and conditions of TSSSA contracts to ensure fair and advantageous outcomes for our clients.

  • Oversee the implementation of TSSSA contracts, ensuring compliance and effectiveness.

  • Monitor the performance of carbuilders in providing technical support, spare parts supply, and maintenance services.

  • Manage communication and relationship-building with all stakeholders.

  • Provide expertise in fleet management, maintenance operations, and supply chain management.

  • Manage reviews by other Subject Matter Experts, as needed.

  • Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the contract period.

  • Stay informed of industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in the rail industry, with specific knowledge of TSSSA or similar agreements.

  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex contracts and relationships.

  • Knowledge of rail vehicle maintenance, supply chain management, and technical support services.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Compensation Range:

$104,964.00 - $139,952.00
