Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work Onsite with our client in Robesonia, PA. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • Using Total Quality Management problem-solving techniques in routine job activities and team settings, performs all responsibilities in a manner that ensures the quality expectations of every customer, both internal and external, are met and exceeded.
  • Measures critical product/process variables, records, or reports using appropriate TQM tools and utilizes information to improve continuously.
  • If unable to maintain processes within established limits or meet specifications, are fully authorized to stop the operation and seek assistance.
  • Responsible to the Maintenance Supervisor for the safe, efficient performance of assigned installation, repair, adjustment, alteration, and maintenance work of a difficult but not highly complicated nature.
  • Lays out and works from mechanical and structural drawings of a simple nature with minimum supervision.
  • Satisfactorily uses acetylene and electric welding equipment and is proficient in using and caring for shop tools such as portable drills, grinders, hoists, and standard hand tools.
  • Operates most shop machine tools with reasonable accuracy and fair speed and grinds tools for same, including the lathe, milling machine, radial drill, doll saw, and saw filer.
  • Operates shop machines such as power hacksaw, floor or bench grinder, threading equipment, and test equipment.
  • Performs other similar and related duties as assigned.
  • Supervises and instructs helpers assigned to him.
  • Performs duties consistent with best safety practices and reports any unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
  • Keeps equipment and work area clean and orderly.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $26.60 - $32.00/Hr

Hours: 40hrs/week / 9:45pm to 6am Sun - Fri, training on 1st Shift

Length: Direct Hire. No Contract Terms

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in an industrial environment or military experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining manufacturing equipment
  • Minimum of 2 years experience with PLC troubleshooting, industrial and motor controls

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of shop mathematics and strength of materials
  • Practical knowledge of electricity, hydraulics, and mechanical.
  • Knowledge to correct troubles of reasonable difficulty.
  • Uses initiative and judgment in his work, mainly on preventive maintenance to avoid breakdowns and trouble.
  • Has knowledge of and makes repairs on plant piping and electrical circuits.
