Position Title: Sr Supply Chain Specialist - Direct to Consumer
Location: Hershey, PA
Summary:
The primary purpose of the Sr. Supply Chain Specialist - Direct to Consumer (DTC) is to develop and implement an end-to-end supply, inventory management and fulfillment strategy to support customer service goals and achieve the financial objectives of the Direct to Consumer business.
Major Duties/Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the supply planning and logistics coordination for all DTC items from Hershey owned warehouse locations to our DTC 3PL fulfillment centers
- Responsible for the coordination, planning and supply of DTC exclusive items
- Partner with the DTC business partners to develop proper inputs for an accurate demand plan for all DTC SKUs
- Responsible for oversight of SKU level demand for DTC items and ensuring the integration of forecast into THX omni-channel items
- Provide DTC SKU level input to Supply Planning team to support execution of service goals
- Continuously evaluate sales to ensure the target fill rate is achieved and recommend actions to mitigate risks including inventory management
- Responsible for the accurate tracking and establishing of KPI's (Inventory accuracy, shelf-life, on-time - in-full, etc)
Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required to successfully perform major duties/responsibilities:
- Proficient in understanding of fundamental business management and supply chain principles and concepts
- Experience and knowledge of direct-to-consumer supply chain and fulfillment
- Ability to make effective cost vs. service decisions when ordering
- Ability to analyze and interpret data, identify opportunities, and implement solutions
- Demonstrated leadership and decision-making abilities
- Interpersonal communication skills, relationship management and collaboration skills; ability to effectively interface across departments
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and innovative environment
- Ability to develop, implement, and execute forecasts and sales plans
- Thorough understanding of key internal and external order fulfillment processes

- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with Microsoft D365, Power BI and advanced planning systems preferred
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Engineering; MBA a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years progressive, related experience in such areas as supply / operations planning, demand planning, or inventory management.
