Position Summary:

The Maintenance Technician - Level 4 will oversee general machine repair, electrical systems, plumbing, and facilities maintenance. In addition to ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and facilities, this role includes mentoring lower-level maintenance workers to promote skill development and enhance overall team performance. The Maintenance Technician - Level 4 will assist with basic administrative tasks, including sourcing outside vendors and drafting purchase orders for outsourced services. 10+ YOE

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform advanced-level repair and maintenance tasks on mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
  • Expertly troubleshoot and diagnose issues related to equipment malfunction and initiate corrective actions.
  • Lead and guide a team of maintenance technicians, providing technical expertise and support.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance activities to ensure the reliability and efficiency of equipment.
  • Utilize in-depth knowledge to address complex facility repair issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements in maintenance processes.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and equipment condition.
  • Assist with basic administrative tasks, including sourcing outside vendors and drafting purchase orders for outsourced services.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment for the maintenance team.

Required Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in general machine repair, electrical systems, plumbing, and facilities maintenance.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities with team members and other departments.
  • Leadership and mentoring skills to guide and support lower-level maintenance technicians.

  • Physical capability to perform tasks that require lifting to 35lbs, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Required Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications or trade school education is preferred.
  • Demonstrate a minimum of 10 years of prior experience in general machine repair, electrical systems, plumbing, and facilities maintenance within an aerospace manufacturing setting.
  • Possess familiarity with safety protocols and regulations related to maintenance activities.
  • Exhibit experience in maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and equipment specifications.
  • Display proficiency in basic administrative tasks, including vendor sourcing and purchase order drafting.

Level of Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications or trade school education is preferred.

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $35.00 to $50.00 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company's Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company's bonus multiple, based on the Company's performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 104 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company's 401(k) plan.
This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)).
