PURPOSE OF FUNCTION
BNOF - Finance & Legal\Legal
The BNOF Finance & Legal job function develops and implements financial and legal strategies in order to assist
in securing long-term profitable growth.
PURPOSE OF JOB
Responsible for leading the daily legal operations workflow, to ensure tasks are completed accurately and within
our service level agreement for the legal team. Provides legal support for the entire legal team and serves as a
partner to relevant business units. Uses legal experience to support the Country Legal Manager, Deputy Legal
Manager and other identified stakeholders as needed to reduce exposure to legal risks and to optimize
business opportunities. Manages the business license process and provides administrative support for legal and
governance routines.
Core Responsibilities
* Manages legal projects, including the implementation of legal technology, transformation support, and
training of legal team on legal technology. Provides administrative support to the Legal Manager and the
Country Legal Manager to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
* Supports administrative functions required by Country Legal Manager and Legal Manager including case file
creation, invoicing and invoice review, planning and organizing meetings, facilitating enterprise-wide
communication, and document organization.
* Partners with specific business units to facilitate document collection, discovery, and internal investigations.
Manages workflow from internal and external sources.
* Supports legal team with aspects of litigation, discovery projects, and subpoena management. Acts as liaison
with external auditors, IT, Risk & Compliance and Group P&C to adhere to compliance regulations and
ways of working.
* Works alone and as part of a team to complete short-term and long-term projects. Manages multiple projects
at once, ensuring timely completion of all projects.
* Identifies potential problems and inefficiencies, creates solutions to ensure processes are meeting business
needs.
* Monitors and maintains corporate files; maintains and updates legal documents (i.e., Service Level
Agreements, Delegations/POAs.
* Reviews documents drafted by attorneys for formatting, substantive, and with the status of projects.

* Management of large case files and class actions

* Experience with Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel required
* Drafting and reviewing simple contracts or corporate resolutions preferred
* Paralegal experience preferred
