Seeking Clinical Nurse Coordinator!

Baptist Health Floyd, 3A Oncology Unit

Full-time (40 Hours/Week), Days

Job Duties:

In this role, the Nurse Coordinator is responsible for providing assistance to the department Nurse Manager in planning, organizing, directing and evaluating nursing services of the unit. Collaborates with Quality Manager to support quality initiatives and performance improvement activities.

About the Unit:

The Oncology Unit, also known as 3A, is a 15-bed unit that provides care to Chemotherapy/Cancer Support/Hospice/Telemetry/Post-Op patients. Nurses have the opportunity to build their skill set in a med/surg atmosphere while also developing specialty skills related to chemotherapy and oncology care. New Graduate LPNs and RNs are welcome.

Qualifications:

Graduate of an approved nursing program

Bachelor's in nursing required

Current Indiana or compact state RN license

BLS for Healthcare Provider required

Chemo Certification required within 12 months of hire

At least one (1) year of nursing experience required

Experience as a Charge Nurse or Supervisor preferred

Quality Improvement/Data Analysis experience preferred
