Job Summary

The Account Manager is responsible for the sale of wall panels, roof/floor trusses, stair kits and engineered wood products for Residential, Single-family, Multi-family, and Commercial projects by developing and maintaining customer contacts within any of the following areas.

Ideal candidates would reside within the following areas:
* Harrisburg, PA
* Lancaster, PA
* Hershey, PA
* Hagerstown, MD

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

  • Service, maintain and grows positive relationships with current customer base
  • Identify and meet timelines for project bids and order process
  • Understand and perform cost savings analysis for customers
  • Generates new customers and grow existing customers through follow up
  • Offer value added solutions to customers
  • Assist in establishing customer credit lines
  • Monitors sales trends in assigned market
  • Prepares various reports as required
  • Accounts receivable management for commission collections
  • Performs other duties as required

Qualifications

  • Preferred bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related area
  • Preferred minimum of 3-5 years' experience selling wall panels, roof/floor trusses, stair kits and/or engineered wood products
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Outlook and other software for business applications
  • Preferred manufacturing background, but not required
  • Preferred experience and knowledge on UFP's organization, culture, and product lines
