To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Purpose: This position is for a mid-entry individual contributor in the Test sub-family, working under limited supervision in routine and defined situations.
Responsibility Statement: Performs complex testing and moderate problem solving on digital systems and subassemblies on Flying Probe equipment. Has solid understanding of manufacturing quality standards and can read schematics or other technical data as needed. Ability to prepare complex test reports and data in accordance with functional and acceptance level test procedures, may be requested to assist with red-lining of existing functional testing procedures. May need to perform complex testing; Thermal, Shock, Vibration and Environmental Tests. Troubleshoots and can determine root cause for issues with assemblies, debugging of moderate to complex problems. Uses a variety of test equipment; including oscilloscopes, digital multi-meters, serial emulators, networking devices, and other tools found in a testing laboratory to ensure the highest quality of integrated and tested products
Additional Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Ability to work with little to no general instruction on daily activities. Solid knowledge of testing methods and troubleshooting processes. Strong reading, writing English, and arithmetic skills required. Understanding of electrical theory and principles such as Ohm's law and circuit analysis are a must.
Education: Associate degree, H.S. Diploma
Work Experience: Experience in testing and troubleshooting electrical components, 3+ Years
