Job Description/Summary:
Operate machines in a safe and efficient manner to be productive while maintaining high quality standards.
Required Qualifications:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Available for overtime.
- Available to train on different machinery and different lines.
- Must have mechanical aptitude.
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Safely comply with all written and verbal safety rules of plant and department assigned to.
- Able to wear all personal protective equipment.
- Maintain good housekeeping.
- Capable of lacing-up plastic through equipment.
- Learn all future tasks of the job.
- Show continuous improvement throughout training process.
- Identifyand use standard hand tools.
- Compute basic math, such as adding, dividing, subtraction, percentages, etc.
- Ability to read a tape measure down to 1/16"
- Indentify all E-stops on the machine in which they are being trained on,
- Able to activate the E-stops on machine by means of pushing of pulling the E-stop.
- Relieve fellow coworkers for breaks.
- Assist fellow coworkers as needed to maintain levels of production.
