PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Installs voice communications equipment for renovations and new construction including electronic phone systems and advanced technology systems. Works with the Telecommunications group in evaluating and developing voice networking requirements for renovations and new construction. Installs voice traffic monitoring equipment, which provides analysis reports critical in reconfiguration of an existing voice network. Provides leadership and guidance to junior level technicians. Diagnoses problem source through discussions with users; coordinates with internal telecommunications support and operations with vendors to resolve problems.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

High School graduate; related College coursework preferred.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:Three years in a data communications/network operations position
Five years experience with installation of PBX, key, and electronic telephone systems.

General office and/or controlled data center environment. Some work outside normal business hours is required. Provides support to IT and client community; occasionally will need to work through demanding situations.
