CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking an Entry Level Programmer Analyst - Java Script & SQL to join our Corporate - Ops & Innovation/IT Team at our office in Colonie, NY.

YOUR IMPACT

CHA's corporate support teams provide vital specialized services to our technical business lines and market teams including, financial, legal, marketing, business development, human resources, information technology and operational services. These teams may also support clients when their skills and expertise are required.

The primary responsibilities of the Entry Level Programmer Analyst - Java Script & SQL will be to support the members of CHA's Development & Data Analytics team with the design, development, and implementation of database driven applications that will meet the needs of our internal clients. The individual in this position will assist in the daily management and administration of our Enterprise Financial, Marketing, Human Resources and database systems by taking direction from Sr. staff, with a focus on Java Script and SQL. The Entry Level Programmer Analyst - Java Script & SQLwill be able to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, and participate in code reviews to ensure high quality coding standards. Additional responsibilities include report writing, data analysis, documentation, and QA/QC testing.

REQUIREMENTS
    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working in an Information Technology environment
  • Experience with programming languages, such as Visual Basic .Net.; and web development technologies such as XHTML, JavaScript, jQuery, Python
  • Experience with scripting languages, such as VBScript, SQL, and DAX
  • Experience with relational databases, such as SQL Server
  • Experience programming with Microsoft Access and Excel
  • Experience with SQL Reporting Services, Access, or other database report writing tools
  • Experience programming with Adobe Acrobat a plus
  • Familiarity with Data Analytic tools such as PowerBI
  • Familiarity with Deltek Vision or Vantagepoint systems a plus
  • Mathematical skills and a general knowledge of Financial Accounting principles a plus
