Position Title: Employee Benefits Account Manager
Business Unit: INSA
Reports to: Director of Employee Benefits
Position Overview:
This position is primarily responsible for managing and acting as the day-to-day contact for an employee benefits book of business.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provides day-to-day client support and addresses intermediate-level client inquiries. Supports client retention by maintaining positive relationships with clients and conducts regular (at least quarterly) service calls with assigned book of business.
Delivers good customer service by responding swiftly to queries and concerns from clients.
Drives the renewal process and account service plans.
Assists in the development of strong business relationships with appropriate carrier personnel. Recognizes and satisfies carrier goals and objectives to enhance business relationships.
Updates agency management system for ongoing activity.
Supports open enrollment process, including preparation and scheduling (if applicable) as well as utilization and financial review.
Maintains documentation in accordance with HIPAA and company procedures.
Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.
