The Assistant Director will support and collaborate with the Director of the Honors Institute in managing daily operations in person on the East Falls campus with the goals of strengthening and growing the Honors Institute. In addition, the Assistant Director will work on creating, coordinating, supervising and delivering Honors programming and opportunities in consultation with the Director. The Assistant Director assists the Director in student communications, addressing the administrative needs of the Institute, creating Institute data management tools, providing academic advising and mentoring for Honors students, supporting prospective student recruitment, student development, and post-graduate opportunities. Occasional responsibilities outside of typical work week include participation in Open Houses and support of honors programming. Duties also include ongoing evaluations and assessment of outcomes of the Honors Institutersquo;s objectives and goals, teaching Honors First Year Seminar, and supervising student workers

bull; Compile and analyze data to support strategic amp; academic planning process and evaluation of initiatives

bull; Support the execution of curricular development and programming in the Honors Institute
bull; Serve as a contact to faculty regarding Honors curriculum, policies and other related matters
bull; Contribute to ongoing evaluation and assessment of outcomes of the Honors Institute#39;s objectives and goals utilizing university#39;s procedures and assessment tools
