The Horsham Clinic is seeking a dynamic and talented Social Worker.

We are minutes from Philadelphia and we serve Southeastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey. The Horsham Clinic provides comprehensive behavioral health services to children, adolescents, adults, and their families. Programs and services are located on the main campus in Ambler, Pennsylvania, as well as satellite day hospital programs in Pennsylvania, Delaware County, and Chester County. The Social Worker provides clinical social work services on a designated unit in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of The Horsham Clinic and the NASW. The Social Worker is responsible for psychosocial assessments, individual, group and family therapy, participation in treatment team planning, processing commitments, and discharge planning/case management service, crisis intervention and liaison services with referral sources and other departments within the hospital.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in social work and LSW/LCSW required.
  • 3-4 years working with varied patient population required.
  • Knowledge of group therapy
  • Knowledge of case management, discharge planning, group leadership skills, age specific growth and development, crisis and behavior management,
  • Knowledge of family therapy
  • Flexibility for reassignment to units providing care to varied populations including children, adolescents, adults, older adults and dually diagnosed patients in an inpatient hospital setting.
  • Must be a team player and demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication.
