Responsibilities

Foundations Behavioral Health provides innovative behavioral health treatment and academic excellence to children, adolescents and young adults. Established in 1964, Foundations Behavioral Health provides treatment in a homelike environment located on a 12 acre campus in Bucks County, PA. Foundations provides a full continuum of care for children, adolescents, and young adults spanning hospitalization to outpatient and academic services

We are currently seeking a Per Diem Therapist to support our Doylestown, PA location.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide therapeutic services to children and adolescents and their families
  • Perform Bio-psychosocial assessments that result in a broad picture of treatment needs, and aid in the development a multidisciplinary treatment plan.
  • Identify, provide, and/or arrange for case management services ensuring quality aftercare services.
  • Willingness to conduct self with professionalism and demonstrate excellent customer service when interacting with youth, families, outside agencies, and colleagues.
  • The hours for this position are flexible

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Human Services field from accredited college or university
  • Completion of a supervised clinical experience, preferably as part of the degree program, comprising a minimum of 200 hours.
  • Experience with Autism, Intellectual Disabilities, and Developmental Disabilities preferred
  • Experience in an inpatient or residential treatment setting a plus!
  • In response to the current pandemic, Respiratory Fit testing is a requirement of the job

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficient with a computer and the required software programs as applicable to the job functions, including electronic mail, word processing, excel, and various databases
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Capable of performing written or typed record keeping and correspondence as it relates to job functions.
  • Capable of rapport building with youth and their families to facilitate their engagement in the therapeutic services.
  • An availability to work evenings and weekends as needed
  • Willingness to learn and engage in case management and aftercare planning
