Job Description:

  • The Physical / Occupational Therapy Technician works only under on-site supervision of a therapist / PTA.
  • Technician is responsible for aiding the Physical / Occupational Therapists and Assistants with safe patient care.
  • Technician will prepare the patient and/or the area for treatment. He/she is responsible for maintaining the physical order of the department.
  • Technician will assist in transporting patients as needed.
  • Technician will assist with clerical duties and the orientation of new employees and volunteers as needed.
  • The Physical / Occupational Therapy Technician must intervene appropriately and meet the needs of patients with impaired mental abilities, vision, hearing, or mobility.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED
