 CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Traffic Engineer to join our Traffic & ITS Team based in either Duluth or Atlanta, GA.

CHA’s Traffic and ITS team provides planning, analysis, modeling, and design development for public and private sector clients. Our team of traffic engineers, transportation planners, and technical staff provide a comprehensive breadth of knowledge and experience in all facets of modal mobility, accessibility, safety, technology, and deployment. From roadside sign inventories and safety audits to the latest intelligent transportation system (ITS) innovations and applications, our professionals are adept at managing the entire design development and implementation process.

At CHA, the Traffic Engineer will work closely with our senior engineers supporting design development, implementation, and analysis on a variety of different traffic and ITS-related projects to meet our individual client needs. The right candidate will be a strong communicator with time management and problem-solving skills who is interested in learning and growing in a collaborative team environment.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering is required
  • EIT certification is preferred
  • Driver’s license is required
  • No prior experience required; however, prior internship(s) and/or applicable coursework preferred
  • Familiar with engineering, computational, and modeling software such as Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.
  • Maxtime, Synchro, and HCS software experience is a plus
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software required
