As a 2022 FIS University Program full-time employee, you will have the opportunity to participate in team projects, community service activities, professional development seminars and work with a team that is invested in your growth, development, and success; including quarterly performance connects with your manager and bi-annual merit reviews.

This two-year full-time program has start dates in January, March, June and September with a dedicated "Learning Week" where you will;

  • Learn how to work within a corporate environment
  • Learn the structure of FIS and options for growth within the organization
  • Hear from FIS leadership about their journey and participate in senior leader networking opportunities
  • Build a network of your peers from across the organization

This position is for a June 2022 start.

About The Team

Join the Corporate Actions team as a Product Analyst and design solutions to business challenges and see them come to life in our Corporate Actions Manager solution suite. We are looking for a quick learning individual to join a global team that provides a software product offering to help clients manage the corporate actions lifecycle. Our solution suite automates the end-to-end corporate actions lifecycle from data cleansing through announcement/notification, election capture and downstream posting.

As a member of a cross-functional team, you have an opportunity to interact with colleagues and clients across many different roles in different parts of the world to grow this new and exciting product offering. Look forward to facing new challenges each day - from conducting market research - to designing new system functionality - and working with our global client base to solve market problems.

What You Will Be Doing

Primary responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:

  • Work closely with product management leadership to advance the strategy of the product
  • Gather and document business requirements, design solution/new features, and gain the approval of these such requirements
  • Support the software development team on executing your business requirements
  • Train internal teams on product releases containing your feature enhancements, work with pre-sales on product demonstrations
  • Support the client service team around system issues/inquiries
  • Ad hoc special projects for senior management

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree from business, finance, economics, or other related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Self-motivated and willingness to learn
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Critical Thinking Skills - ability to conduct business analysis and propose solutions to client challenges
  • Collaboration skills - capable of working with global/cross-functional teams
  • Effective Communication/Documentation - this is essential for contributing on a global team
  • Results-Focused Drive - ability to self-organize to get task completed

Added Bonus If You Have

  • Product / project management experience
  • Skills with web and/or user experience design
  • Effective presentation / documentation skills
  • Any technical experience - SQL or Mongo database querying
