About the role:

Develop core versions of software applications for use by internal brokerage teams and external clients. Identifies client purchasing requirements and technical specifications through Product Management and/or client representatives. Interacts with engineering groups to assist in design changes to equipment and/or software. Trains and communicates with clients on systems application.

What you will be doing

You will develop, enhance, optimize and maintain trade cost analysis systems and applications in order to provide automated data analysis solutions for internal product development, trading, and sales teams as well as for customers.

• Create and code new applications and tools to assist internal teams in analyzing and presenting trading data.
• Maintain and enhance existing analytics apps and systems in an ever-changing environment.
• Delve into data related issues to determine where there are problems and the best ways to address them.
• Configure and automate new periodic reports as needed.
• Working with systems teams to optimize performance.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
A Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science or other related discipline or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.

What you will need:

• 3+ years experience coding in a production environment
• Strong skills with SQL and database schemas
• Must be very detail oriented with strong troubleshooting skills
• Ability to present data to users with a multitude of needs and perspectives
• Must communicate effectively with customers and co-workers

Added bonus if you have:

Technical Skills:

• Experience with statistics is a plus
• Technical Expertise with Java, Kotlin, Perl, jQuery/JavaScript, PHP, and Oracle or SQLite SQL
• Knowledge of Transaction Cost Analysis is a plus
