What success looks like in this role:

Lead software development team in the implementation of mission critical information technology solutions for law enforcement agencies. Drive the creation of custom software solutions for law enforcement agencies including interfaces to other systems. Lead development of technical specifications to meet documented requirements and secure client approval. Coordinate design details with technical team members. Allocate work to software developers, monitor and drive progress, evaluate results. Lead problem technical problem resolution during development, integration, and test and continues in this role in early production to secure client satisfaction. Apply design and test methodology to assure system performance and reliability. Acquire and apply knowledge of law enforcement technology standards. Lead technical presentation to client and to internal development staff. Lead technical effort to integrate the solution into the client's infrastructure. Provide direction to technical staff. Create project plans and apply methodology in accordance with Unisys standards. Contribute reusable artifacts to solution repository.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a directly related field plus ten (10) years of software development experience. Experience must include:

Ten (10) years of the following (experience may be gained concurrently):

• Hands on experience implementing complex, mission critical information technology solutions;

• Conducting hardware Infrastructure design and sizing;

Five (5) years of the following (experience may be gained concurrently):

• Experience implementing object-oriented software systems

Three (3) years of the following (experience may be gained concurrently):

• Experience with Microsoft .NET and SQL Server;

• Experience working on Web services implementation and message queue implementation, including MSMQ or IBM MQ;

• Experience with Model View Controller (MVC) and Entity Framework implementation;

One (1) year of the following (experience may be gained concurrently):

• Experience with Enterprise Middleware;

Experience should also include:

• Experience with law enforcement information systems; and

• Experience with law enforcement system interfaces and messaging
