What success looks like in this role:

Key Responsibilities:

  • In this role, you will assist with the execution and management of processes, controls and procedures necessary to produce financial reporting that meets the needs of Corporate or BU management.
  • -Focus on development of technical capabilities in the areas of accounting guidance, design and operation of controls, governance, policy and project management.

Additional responsibilities for CSIO function:

  • Track and report on monthly financial actuals vs. planned spend
  • Validate project charges to active projects
  • Expense category analysis (telecom, software license, SaaS, travel etc.)
  • Plan, build, run financial analysis on a monthly basis
  • Business Unit and Corporate Function project beneficiary spend analysis
  • Benchmark analysis quarterly
  • Financial outlook / forecast and liaison with corporate finance
  • Monthly reporting of HR related data; headcount, diversity, etc.
  • Vendor spend analysis on a quarterly basis

You will be successful in this role if you have:

Qualifications:

-Undergraduate degree with major in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Administation (required); and a minimum of 5 years of experience in related area

-In some roles, Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred

-Familiarity with common financial systems and experience in system interaction.

-Experience working in a global organization (preferred)

-Effective communication skills expressed through conversation, instructing, written memos, written work instructions and flow charts.

-Strong presentation skills including the ability to successfully represent data and ideas.

-Ability to work in a team environment and lead special projects.

Experience writing and preparing reports for executive level management

* Experience with financial analysis

* Experience with Project Management

* Highly collaborative with an ability to gather information required to understand other departments' processes and challenges
