Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Shift Supervisor is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the facility during an assigned shift, including the monitoring of boilers, turbine and steam plant. The Shift Supervisor will routinely tour the plant and oversee the work of various personnel while operating within all safety regulations, environmental limits

Provide guidance to Crane, Auxiliary, and Back Plant Operators to maintain a safe and efficient operation Effectively monitor Covanta operations systems and have a strong working knowledge of boiler, turbine, and auxiliary equipment operations Experienced in reading blueprints, P&IDs, and schematic specifications Manage critical events and prioritize tasks for completion
