Established in 1940, Harlan Electric Company (Harlan Electric) has successfully completed hundreds of substation, transmission line, distribution, and renewable energy projects across the upper Midwest and northeastern United States. We deliver a complete range of services, including power line construction, telecommunications infrastructure, emergency restoration, and traffic signalization. Harlan Electric possesses extensive expertise providing services in congested urban environments. 

Our years of experience working in the area have provided us with an arsenal of knowledge regarding issues unique to the region. We are familiar with area topography with the use of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) or drones, assessing weather conditions, permitting/ROW/landowner relations, regional laws and regulations, local and regional subcontractors, and union and labor relations.
