CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our MEP Team in either our Rochester or Colonie, NY office.

YOUR IMPACT

CHA creates state-of-the-art mechanical systems that prioritize energy efficiency without sacrificing strength or ramping up costs. Our team consists of industry leaders who have valuable hands-on experience as plant managers and engineers in industrial settings. We offer complete mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) engineering and design/construction services for companies throughout the manufacturing sector as well as a variety of public, private, and institutional clients. Our professionals will perform a thorough analysis of your systems and utilize proven methods to optimize performance.

The Mechanical Engineer plays a key role in the design, development, and technical analysis of various MEP projects for multiple different clients. This individual will monitor progress and performance to ensure projects are delivered in a timely and cost-effective manner to meet client, contractual and company requirements. The right individual for this role will have a desire to work in a collaborative team environment and proven mechanical system design experience.

REQUIREMENTS
    Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of related engineering experience is required
  • Proficient in engineering, computational, and load modeling software including AutoCAD, Revit, TRACE, eQUEST, and DesignBuilder
  • Occasional travel may be required
