At PaperWorks, we are in pursuit of being recognized as a Great Place to Work. To get there, we need an experienced, motivated Network Analyst to join the IT team in the Syracuse, NY area. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the technology infrastructure of the organization which provides IT services such as personal computer, network, servers, enterprise applications, email and Internet access, mobile personal device connectivity, telephony, data integrity and information security to support the business in meeting its objectives. Our Network Analyst will work with team members to assist in project scoping initiatives as assigned by the Information Technology Manager - Infrastructure. 1st position- Worksite location: Syracuse, NY - hybrid remote
2nd position will be 100% remote for EAST COAST candidate.

How you will impact PaperWorks:

  • Provide administration and general support of Networking, Firewalls, Active Directory, Azure, MS O365, MS cloud apps and Cybersecurity tools.
  • Configure, maintain, and upgrade hardware including but not limited to networking, firewalls, servers & PC's, and Macs. Create and maintain all network documentation.
  • Support a 24/7 manufacturing environment via helpdesk ticketing system. Provide technical support to the IT department and end users for services related issues.
  • Proactively monitor critical system functions and events to insure high availability and optimal performance. Respond to and communicate notifications and escalations during outages. Collaborate with team members and outsides vendors to ensure correct resolutions.
  • Complete capacity planning for current and future systems to ensure the availability of all systems. Evaluate and recommend infrastructure and related desktop technology products and services.
  • Collaborate with other members of the infrastructure department during scoping process for projects and make recommendations to responsible parties on tasks.

What you will need to succeed:

  • Bachelor's Degree in technology related field preferred.
  • VMWARE, vSphere, Office 365 and PowerShell experience required.
  • Meaningful experience supporting Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, PKI, DFS, and Terminal services.
  • Extensive Knowledge and administration of Office365, Azure, Intune, and Microsoft Defender.
  • Demonstrated experience with enterprise networking solutions including WAN, LAN, Wireless and VPN technologies, and protocols including TCP/IP, BGP, EIGRP, and OSPF. Familiarity of cybersecurity concepts and technologies preferred.
  • Experience with End-User support and training, troubleshooting hardware/software issues, and Remote User Connectivity (VPN).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills to build relationships and effectively communicate with team members company wide. Ability to interact and work effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities, while demonstrating strong attention to detail and appreciation of deadlines. Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • An eye towards continuous process improvement, including the ability to innovate and simplify both IT and operational processes with a positive attitude!
