CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Project Surveyor to join our Survey & SUE Team based in Duluth, GA. This is a hybrid role offering the flexibility to work both in-office and from home.

YOUR IMPACT

CHA's comprehensive approach to survey work and Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) is the hallmark of a successful project. We are focused on the use of advanced measurement technology to improve our process and results. Our robust quality assurance/quality control processes result in accurate and precise work.

The Project Surveyor plays a pivotal role on our Survey and Project Teams, providing both project development and oversight as well as team leadership and management. Some specific tasks will include developing scope of services for survey task requests, which may involve estimating cost and schedule requirements, obtaining approvals, and monitoring the delivery of services, as well as QA/QC functions through to project completion. The right individual for this role will be detailed oriented with an extensive survey background, and the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively.

REQUIREMENTS
    High School Diploma required; Associate degree and/or Bachelor's degree in land surveying, surveying technology, or other related field preferred
  • LSIT, CST, or PLS preferred
  • Valid US Driver's license required
  • Minimum of 10 years of related experience is required
  • AutoCAD design software is required, MicroStation & Inroads software is preferred
  • Knowledge of Federal, State, and other regulations regarding land surveying
  • Experience with GDOT, specifically production of database deliverables
  • Experience with photogrammetry is a plus
  • Occasional travel (less than 10%) required
