About the Opportunity: As our HR Business Partner located in Dallas, Texas and reporting to our VP People Operations, you will work autonomously with your business units as their employee experience champion as you help them support their ever growing teams. You will have the opportunity to participate in developing people strategies that make our business units stronger while coaching and consulting with our people leaders about HR matters. This is an incredible ground floor opportunity to join Sagent's HR Team as we transform into a People Operations organization and support our growth initiatives.

And if it couldn't get any better....this role is a hybrid position - partially remote and some in-office to meet with your team when appropriate!

Your Day-to-Day at Sagent:

  • Strategic workforce planning to ensure the business units are the right size, shape and cost
  • Succession planning initiatives to ensure critical talent gaps are identified and planned for
  • Provide HR business advice where necessary with key people leaders
  • Stay current on employment law, regulations and legal requirements to ensure compliance
  • Provide day-to-day performance guidance to people leaders including career planning, mentoring and coaching
  • Collaborate with HR/Talent teams on strategies to implement innovative and inclusive recruitment, engagement and L&D strategies
  • Improve reward and recognition programs; employee events and other activities that increase employee engagement
  • Work with management to solve conflicts, build morale, reinforce/build a strong culture and reduce turnover
  • Become Sagent's "culture" evangelist

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • 5-10 years as a People/HR Professional and 3-5 years working in a People Operations model
  • SHRM or other related certification
  • Lifelong learner mindset - we are always looking for a better way through tools, resources and practices
  • Data driven and knowledge of using KPIs to demonstrate value and accomplishments
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills
