We are looking for dynamic, highly driven, energetic Primary Care Sales Representatives to join our team! This is an exciting opportunity to sell two innovative antibiotic products.

The Primary Care Sales Representative targets and promotes the products to Physicians in the designated territory. While managing the territory, the Primary Care Sales Representative will develop and create relationships with Physicians and other key office members to increase products awareness, communicate product benefits and achieve sales goals. As a member of the sales team, the Primary Care Representative is responsible for the development of a comprehensive business plan to achieve sales potential and growth within the territory. The Primary Care Representative will work closely with specialty pharmacies, managed care and other health-related organizations/personnel/customers to enable pull through and patient access. While reporting to the District Manager, the Primary Care Representative will work with other sales team members and internal and external colleagues, when necessary and appropriate, to achieve regional and corporate objectives.

Education and Experience

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Minimum of 1+ years of successful Pharmaceutical Sales experience
  • Entrepreneurial attitude and hunter mentality
  • Track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Computer and software experience; proficiency using Microsoft word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Ability to travel as necessary or required, which may include overnight
  • Submit and maintain required credentials such as requests for vaccination information, training's, adherence to HCP/Hospital policies, and other job-related documentation, in order to gain compliant access to hospitals or healthcare providers.
  • Representatives visiting facilities in the District of Columbia may be required to obtain a license in order to detail/sell in those areas.
  • Proof of Covid 19 Vaccination required

Preferred:

  • 2 + years of successful Pharmaceutical Sales experience.
  • Experience selling antibiotics or antibacterial therapeutic area/industry.
  • Current experience, within the last 3-5 years, selling in Primary Care setting or calling on Primary Care Physicians.
  • Experience with specialty pharmacy and pull through.
  • Launch experience desired.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

  • Successfully manage territory to meet and exceed sales quotas and objective.
  • Maintain ongoing knowledge of other drug competitors in the field.
  • Engage Primary Care Physicians within assigned geographical territory and delivers clinically focused message to introduce, launch, grow brand-share and revenue to consistently deliver on product goals.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with managed care, specialty pharmacies, and other internal and external resources to ensure that appropriate product, payor, and reimbursement information is made available to targeted Physicians/HCPs and to otherwise address customer requests.
  • Execute on tactical strategies in accordance with company direction within the assigned geographic territory to achieve individual, regional and company goals for sales, market share, call metrics, etc.
  • Promote and educate targeted physicians/HCPs on the use of company products through virtual and/or live one-on-one meetings and group presentations, company-approved promotional speaker programs, and other company-approved means.
  • Effectively and persuasively communicate with customers using effective selling, listening and negotiation skills, proper terminology and approved messaging.
  • Maintain a positive and compliant working relationship with customers staff, client contacts and members of the Amplity team.
  • Manage daily sales call activity and formulate individual sales call plans to optimize time and maximize the achievement of sales and market share objectives.
  • Recognize changes and emerging trends in the marketplace, develop and implement alternate plans to achieve territory and company objectives.
  • Educate targeted customers using company-approved resources, sales materials, and promotional activities/programs/initiatives as identified by Sales Management.
  • Ensure solid performance levels of call and field productivity. Meet Call Plan expectations and achieve territory, product sales goals while adhering to all Amplity Health and company Policies and Procedures, including company's Code of Conduct.
  • Accurately report/submit sales call activities, territory expenses and written reports and within deadline as defined by Sales Management.
  • Intellectually curious, maintain solid understanding of the market, competitors and technical expertise.
  • Successfully work with multiple stakeholders within the organization.
  • Verify and complete required call data entry in accordance with company instructions.
  • Attend and participate in teleconference and live national and, regional meetings and training sessions and represent client at national and/or local conventions when requested.
  • Regularly review and analyze all available sales data to effectively utilize promotional budget funds, if applicable.

  • MUST maintain thorough knowledge of company product(s), including satisfactory completion of ALL Amplity and clients' initial and ongoing training program(s).(required)
  • At time of employment and through duration of employment MUST maintain a current valid driver's license, have an automobile and clean/safe driving record.
