Job Details

Job Summary:

Direct all shipping and inventory activities of the department including FDA compliance, inspect, label, and ship/receive goods according to customer demands.

Job Description:

  • Drive continuous improvement with the CAPA activity.

  • Supervise the activities to label and assemble reagents for finished goods inventory.

  • Maintain departmental performance metrics to guide the improvement opportunities.

  • Supervise receiving goods and shipping goods via courier.

  • Assure accuracy in stores and finished good inventory.

  • Direct the maintenance of shipping and consumables logs.

  • Assist with answering phones.

  • Maintain shipping and packaging supplies.

  • Direct packaging and shipping analyzer orders.

  • Schedule jobs (work orders) and responsibilities for the team daily and weekly while monitoring consumable production and stock levels. Prepare, organize and inspect travelers and related paperwork.

  • Handle internal and external stock requisitions.

  • Tabulate daily order quantities that ship.

  • Review orders as they are released from Sales.

  • Other job functions as required.

  • Supervise departmental associates, provide training and development, and disciplinary action as appropriate.

  • Identify skills and flexibility of associates and provide cross-training as appropriate.

  • Guide associates' activities and behaviors to comply with systems.

  • Develop and maintain an effective organization through the selection, training, compensation, motivation, termination and review of all departmental associates.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent, required.

  • Prior shipping/receiving experience, required.

  • Computer literacy, required. (Microsoft Outlook, and Teams)

  • Oracle, or other ERP experience, preferred.

  • Prior inventory management or cycle counting experience, preferred.
