As Erie's leading not-for-profit senior living organization, Springhill delivers engaging, caring, wellness-focused retirement living for the greater Erie region.Founded in 1990 by local leaders in conjunction with Hamot Medical Center to meet the region's need for a senior residential community, Springhill was Erie's first independent senior living community.Springhill joined the Asbury system in 2001 and was the first accredited continuing care retirement community in Erie. The 45-acre campus is home to 275 residents and employs more than 250 associates.Springhill provides a full continuum of services for older adults and has 124residential apartments and 36 Garden Homes. The community provides 35 personal care residences in Oakview Personal Care Residence, ForestView Health Care Center provides skilled nursing and rehabilitative services for up to 60 people. The Woodlands Memory Support Neighborhood, housed within ForestView, can accommodate 20 residents.


Job Description
  1. Performs general maintenance duties as it relates to troubleshooting and repair of multiple types of residential/commercial HVAC, plumbing, electrical, applianceequipment and routine building upkeep and repairs.
  2. Responsibilities also include general maintenance tasks on laundry, commercial kitchen equipment, domestic water, fire protection and alarm.
  3. Responds to residential work orders as directed by lead technician/supervisor.
  4. Utilizes maintenance management system software to document data including but not limited to work order completion, issue resolutions.

Schedule & Pay:

  • Full Time, 80 hours bi-weekly
  • Hours: M-F8:00am-4:30pm
  • Ability to work weekends, evenings and being available on call for after hour emergencies
  • $24.00/Hour

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED equivalency required.
  • Valid Drivers License.
  • Minimum three (3) years of progressive experience in general maintenance required.
  • CFC certification or ability to obtain within initial 90-days of hire.
