Title: Advanced Mechanical Engineer

Pay Rate: $50/HR

Schedule: 100% Onsite Note: Hybrid Work may be available per Manager's approval

Work Type: Contractor to Direct Hire / 40-Hour Work Week / Monday - Friday

Required Secret Security: Yes, active Secret Security or eligibility to obtain clearance

Job Responsibilities "At-a-Glance":

• Designing and analyzing components and electro-mechanical assemblies
• Creating and maintaining mechanical solid models and drawings using SolidWorks
• Creating and managing BOMs within the company's data management systems
• Developing fixtures and equipment to support testing and production work efforts
• Developing and presenting PowerPoint presentations and documenting design progress
• Participating in various technical and program weekly meetings
• Developing technical recommendations and written communications for Program Management and customers technical issues

Required Work Skills, Education and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Sciences or Mathematics
• 5 years' experience modeling, CAD tools to create mechanical models and drawings
• 5 years' experience creating professional technical documents and proposals and managing complex projects
• 5 years' experience as an Advanced Mechanical Engineer as a technically collaborative, creative-minded thinker
  
  

Preferred Work Skills, Education and Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Sciences or Mathematics
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication methods, plus technical, government, and industry standards
