The Electro Optical InfraredSystems (EOIS) line of business within DRS has locations in Dallas and Austin, TX, Melbourne, FL, and Cypress, CA.EOIS develops, manufactures, and supports infrared and electro-optical solutions for soldiers, ground vehicles and airborneplatforms.We offer an exciting and challenging work environment, a competitive salary and benefits package, and a business culture that rewards performance.

- Assemble and wire test systems according to schematics, drawings and specifications.
- Experience with 19" rack assemblies and associated hardware (slides, rails, panels)
- Build and assemble (crimp/solder) wires and connectors for electronic cables assemblies.
- Perform PCB assembly and soldering as needed.
- Wire AC/DC and DC/DC power supplies and fuses/breakers/components in custom chassis.
- Read and interpret drawings and electrical schematics to troubleshoot test system components.
- Utilize a variety of testing equipment including multimeters, oscilloscopes, and function generators.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and resolve testing issues.
- Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field with at least 2years experience preferred.
- Proficiency in soldering and PCB assembly techniques.
- Strong understanding of electrical schematics and ability to troubleshoot based on schematic diagrams.
- Experience using testing equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and function generators.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
