Job Summary

Dorman Products is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Analyst to join our growing team. As a Sr. Supply Chain Analyst, you will provide analytical support for the supply chain, product, and operations teams within Dorman's Heavy Duty (HD) division. Responsibilities will include construction of new data models from unstructured data, analyzing and assessing the impact of internal sales and operational trends, analyzing key business metrics, and evaluating the effectiveness of Dorman's processes and systems to drive continuous improvement.Apply today and enjoy the freedom to pursue new ideas, offer different perspectives, and grow in your career with us!

Primary Duties
  • Develop, maintain, and improve data models for sales and warehouse operations data. Create logic to define and monitor actual performance and identify operational opportunities to maximize order processing productivity
  • Develop, track, analyze, and report on functional KPI's within procurement operations, purchase order management, supplier performance, sales order management, and warehouse operations. Includes root-cause analysis, trend analysis and benchmarking studies
  • Build visualization reporting and dashboards across Business Intelligence (BI) platforms, such as Power BI and Qlik, to provide data-driven narratives for leadership and to support front-line contributors
  • Collaborate with contributors and necessary IT partners to identify opportunities and improve existing processes and procedures to enhance the speed and accuracy of data and its updates
  • Provide support on projects by providing subject matter expert advice related to the integration and processing of data relevant to the business
  • Provide support as a subject matter expert on master data within SAP, understand data points and its implications, and partner with supply chain on administration of parts in SAP, including new part set up and part changes
  • Complete ad hoc analysis, reports, Win-Shuttles, and presentations as required
Qualifications
  • Demonstrate ability and expertise to utilize quantitative and analytical skills to assess business situations and put forward plausible solutions
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office and Power Platform
  • Ability to work in a cross functional environment and at times with multiple priorities
  • Demonstrate ability to manage multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and presentation skills
Education / Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in analytics
  • Advanced experience in BI & analytics tools (Power BI, Qlik, SQL and similar technologies)
  • Experience with SAP and HANA
