The KGSB Executive Program is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Academic and Student Services Coordinator. This position coordinates the academic and student services functions necessary to support the participants of degree and/or non-degree executive education programs. Position will routinely require evening and weekend support hours when classes are in session.Specific duties for this position include:* Serve on the team providing support services for the faculty, students, and participants of degree and/or non-degree Executive Education programs* Support all administrative functions related to degree seeking student matriculation including enrollment, orientation, and student progress.* Support all administrative functions related to non-degree seeking students including registration, attendance, customer service, and certification processes* Support academic functions including course scheduling, faculty scheduling, and classroom support* Attend all class and seminar sessions providing onsite and online support to students and participants* Support all academic and executive education events
Advises students and prospective students on admissions, financial aid, academic requirements, career development, and/or campus activities. Assists in implementation of program activities. Works with Admissions and Career Services to provide quality program information and administer multiple types of information sessions. Corresponds with those seeking admissions standards and academic and non-academic programs. Assists with special projects and coordination of objectives.
Ability to communicate; to comprehend verbal and written instructions; to use a telephone and a computer with or without accommodations; ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds; ability to move about between multiple classrooms and multiple campus sites.
Physical effort is moderate. Frequent and regular movement is required between multiple classrooms and multiple sites on campus. Some lifting is required.
