Candidates should possess a degree in epidemiology, biostatistics or a related field. This position will be responsible for providing analytical support to clinical operations and research related to transplantation in the Thomas E. Starzl Transplantation Institute at the University of Pittsburgh. The successful candidate will have experience in working in clinical transplantation, and proficiency in common statistical programs (SAS, SQL, R, SPSS and MATLAB). Experience in transplantation with an understanding of transplantation-related terminology is a plus. Experience analyzing large datasets is also preferable.
Assists in the execution of research objectives, data collection, and data management. Performs routine procedures, statistical analysis, scientific analysis, and reporting. Integrates data and data sets, performs descriptive and exploratory analysis, and creates routine reports and analysis reporting tools. Utilizes statistical software and adheres to all protocols.
