Your role is responsible for storeroom functions which include, preparing purchasing requests for storeroom supplies, receiving, storing, and distributing parts and supplies, and performing storeroom inventory functions.
Your main tasks involve evaluating stockpiles to determine inventory requirements and overseeing contractors' activities in line with department policies. You will be responsible for procuring materials and services for the organization. Additionally, you will serve as the purchasing cardholder for the department, ensuring that all purchases made with the purchasing card comply with the purchasing card rules and regulations outlined in the current version of the purchasing card manual provided by the Commonwealth and the department.
