We are currently hiring a Line Leader in Breinigsville, PA.

The Line Leader is responsible for their assigned packaging line, including its results, Daily Management Systems (DMS), and overall performance. Their primary role is to improve the line's results and achieve key performance metrics using RTT / IWS tools. This position reports to the Brewery Packaging Manager and is accountable for ensuring the packaging line team's safety, quality, efficiency, and development.

What You'll Brew:

  • Oversee 24-hour line operations, ensuring planned work is completed while meeting packaging schedules. You will lead the organization through the IWS Phase Journey and develop plans to improve line results.
  • Understand department priorities and improve technical or system aspects of the business. During Line Daily Direction Setting (DDS), you will set direction and report on Safety and quality metrics, Clean, Inspect, and lubricate Defect Handling DMSs, and Production attainment results. Coaching team leaders during shift exchange DDS meetings and reviewing incident investigations are also part of your responsibilities.
  • You will develop Line Master / 90-day Plans to address losses and build capability, lead execution of 90-day Plans to eliminate losses using IWS tools and review Line Master Plans and results monthly.
  • It's critical to drive breakthrough results in OEE, Planned, and Unplanned Downtime while delivering against the Master Production Schedule. Coaching the necessity and use of UPS, including 6W2H & speed of execution, and owning Defect Handling and CIL DMSs for the line(s) are also critical.
  • Creating maintenance lists, performing tasks with team, developing and applying solutions to prevent failures is crucial. Your role includes coaching on 8 RTT DMSs, executing Health Checks with leaders, identifying gaps and implementing countermeasures.
  • Coach DMS owners on DMS execution & provide support to achieve DMS targets (Input / Output measures) and coach standard work to eliminate non-value-added work, including coaching the link to effort reduction.
  • Drive a proactive safety culture by using safety triggers, risk assessment, behavioral safety observations, and elimination of unsafe conditions in the area of responsibility. Ensuring product quality meets company and customer requirements/standards while helping to ensure "No quality-concerned products leave the brewery" is also a key responsibility.
  • Assist in establishing and ensuring KPIs in the area of responsibility meet/exceed department objectives and ensure policies and procedures are administered fairly and consistently.

What Ingredients You'll Bring:

Minimum Qualifications:

* 4+ years of demonstrated leadership experience in a manufacturing environment

* Experience in Total Productive Maintenance, Pillars and Handovers

* Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint

* Use of Continuous Improvement, Root Cause, and problem-solving tools

* Demonstrated ability to assimilate technical data to support recommendations

*Ability to work with, analyze, and utilize data and information

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience in high-speed bottling environment preferred

* Specific Technical Mastery preferred

Level: 6

In accordance with pay transparency lawsthe salary range for this role if hired is $87,300 - $135,000 annually based on location and the experience level of the candidate. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on individual and company performance. Certain sales positions are also eligible for car allowance.
