Are you looking to kick-start your career in cost accounting? We are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Cost Accountant who is eager to learn and grow in the cost accounting space. This entry-level position is ideal for someone with a foundational understanding of accounting principles and a keen interest in mastering inventory management and operational cost analysis.

Who You Are:

What You'll Do:

  • Start with the basics by performing regular inventory reconciliations to ensure accuracy and consistency in stock reporting.
  • Work closely with the operations team (visiting the production floor) to understand our products and operational flows, which are crucial for accurate cost tracking.
  • Prepare and analyze daily reports to assess operational efficiency and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Engage in trend analysis and generate reports that will form the basis for strategic decision-making. Initially, focus on learning the patterns and key metrics that drive business performance.
  • Gradually take on more complex analyses, including ad hoc projects, to identify gaps and suggest improvements.
  • Play a role in system enhancement initiatives by providing insights from data analysis and operational interactions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data manipulation.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within the company.

Qualifications

Education
Bachelors of Accounting (preferred)
Bachelors of Finance (preferred)

Experience
SAP knowledge preferred (preferred)
Advanced Excel knowledge is required (preferred)
Minimum of 3 years in Manufacturing or Plant Accounting experience. (preferred)
