We are currently seeking a Part-time Cook to join our team.

The Cook prepares food and dessert items and directly oversees all food production for service to patients, staff and visitors. The Cook provides immediate supervision, in lieu of Food Service Manager, and coordination of dietary staff to maintain high standards of quality food production, safety, sanitation and service in accordance with established policies and procedures and in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Fairmount Behavioral Health System.

• Prefer high school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior institutional cooking experience preferably in a hospital, health care or hospitality setting. Supervisory experience preferred.
• ServSafe Certification preferred.
• Knowledge of basic food science, equipment usage, cleaning products, safety and infection control practices.
