As an RNFA, you would serve as the Surgical First Assistant by directly assisting the surgeon with positioning, prepping and draping the patient, controlling bleeding, providing wound exposure, suturing, mobilizing tissue, and directing other surgical staff. Specialties include but are not limited to: General, Bariatrics, Urology, Orthopedics, Neuro, Plastics, Vascular, Robotics, etc.

Position: RNFA (Registered Nurse First Assistant)
Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:45am - 3:15pm with call requirement.

Experience:
At least three (3) years of experience in perioperative nursing practice as both scrub and circulator.

Education:
1. RN Diploma, ASN required; BSN preferred.
2. Completion of a recognized RNFA Program (proof of verification required).

Licensures/Certifications:
1. PA RN license OR a multi-state license verified in one of the approved states through the Nursing Licensure Compact.
2. Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) required.
3. ACLS required.
4. CNOR Certification.
