Position Overview: The Director of Home Care is responsible for the overall management and strategic direction of our home care operations. This role involves ensuring high-quality care delivery, compliance with regulatory standards, and the successful implementation of business objectives. The Director of Home Care will lead a care team, drive customer satisfaction, and collaborate with senior leadership to support the company's mission and growth. Our Home Care Team provides services to our independent living residents in our CCRC's as well as surrounding areas. This is a mulit-unit role across 3 locations in the Philadelphia Area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Management:

    • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of home care professionals, including caregivers, and administrative staff.
    • Foster a positive work culture that aligns with Simpson's values of compassion, integrity, and respect.
    • Oversee the recruitment, training, and performance management of staff.
  • Quality of Care:

    • Ensure the delivery of high-quality care that meets or exceeds industry standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Develop and implement quality assurance programs to monitor and improve care outcomes.
    • Address and resolve client complaints and concerns in a timely and effective manner.
  • Operational Management:

    • Oversee day-to-day operations, including scheduling, client intake, and service coordination.
    • Implement efficient processes to optimize resource allocation and productivity.
    • Manage budgets and financial performance, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Regulatory Compliance:

    • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations governing home care services.
    • Keep abreast of changes in regulations and adapt company policies accordingly.
    • Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to compliance standards.
  • Client and Family Relations:

    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and referral sources.
    • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and community partners to enhance service offerings.
    • Act as a liaison between clients, families, and the care team to ensure open communication and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, Nursing, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in home care management or a related healthcare field.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of home care regulations and best practices.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
