The Director of Psychological Services provides direct patient care and is responsible for monitoring and delivering high quality services to patients with co-occurring disorders. Primary responsibilities include: Assessment and documentation of clinical needs; with clinical treatment team regarding diagnoses and treatment approaches; implementing and delivering individual, group, and family therapeutic and educational services; Crisis intervention; full participation with the multidisciplinary team toward meeting a patients treatment plan objectives. Clinical Documentation of all intervention and interpretations is required; assist in allocating duties of graduate level psychology students and/or clinical staff; participate in clinical program development & other clinical initiatives; education within the hospital on clinical initiatives, special projects and programming, as it relates to clinical topics. Responsible for completion of clinical chart documentation and audits (ie. notes, treatment plans, recovery plans, admission and/or psychological assessments, and outcome measures, etc.). Assist in oversight of clinical quality/performance improvement initiatives.
