This position is full-time, Monday - Friday. Employees are required to work our normal business hours of 7:30am - 4:00pm EST. Our office is located at 1 Guthrie Square Sayre PA 18840.

We offer 6 weeks of paid training. The hours of training will be based on your schedule or will be discussed on your first day of employment.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collect, verify and prep documents for the scanning process per department procedure
  • Scan, verify and uploading of documents into electronic health record
  • Perform clerical duties such as maintaining retrieving or scanning of all records, files and documents of importance
  • Confirm commitment of all documents to the electronic health records
  • Answer phone and assist caller or redirect to appropriate personnel for assistance
  • Retrieve and file back paper charts, roll film or other items as requested in all areas of storage
  • Assist others in completing tasks for timely completion of our essential functions
  • Destroy/recycle scanned documents based on department destruction policy
  • Mark patients active/inactive in care everywhere or deceased in electric record
  • Pickup and delivery of patient records from designated locations

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years of age OR older
  • High School Diploma / GED
  • 1+ years of experience work directly with medical records documents
  • Ability to work our normal business hours of 7:30am - 4:00pm EST.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience processing protected health information
  • Previous experience with an electronic health records
